Deck 8 |
Decks 8 & 9 housed the majority of the standard cabin areas on the Pride of Portsmouth and also the remainder of the public areas.
The ship was designed with cabin areas in the forward third of the ship and the main areas in the aft two thirds. To help with noise prevention the main Bar and Lounge was placed at the very rear of the ship. The Pride of Portsmouth had two restaurants and one coffee shop onboard. The standard self service being at the aft end of Deck 7. On Deck 8 was the famous a la carte Langans Brasserie alongside the Coffee Shop. If you liked to sit, relax and take plenty of time over your meal the crossing time certainly worked in your favor here. Allowing you several hours to sit and enjoy a three course meal whilst watching the crossing go by. |
