Pride of Le Havre Deck Plan

Deck 1

Decks 1 & 2 were the lowest aboard the Pride of Le Havre and were infact below the waterline under the car deck. The cabins here were sold as Economy and were frequently closed off during night crossings and always closed off during day crossings. During night crossings if there were enough cabins on Deck 7 or above passengers frequently found themselves moved off of Decks 1 & 2.

Unlike her TT Line sisters, the Pride of Le Havre had a further piece of passenger accomodation to the rear of Deck 7. This was used as the foot passenger gangway. The foot passenger gangway in Portsmouth was on Deck 6 and accessed via the stairwell infront of the Bureau de Change.
