The Express has had a varied career with P&O and has more than its fair share of being in the public spotlight. Throughout her career operating out of Portsmouth she experienced numerous engine problems which led to many cancelled sailings and early season closures. However since moving up north to the Irish Sea her reliability has improved considerably and following a large refit has become a firm favourite with many passengers.
